Solaro Estate Winery (1 hr & 13 min drive, Dripping Springs): Enjoy wine tasting overlooking the vineyard and pick out your favorites to take home with you.
El Gaucho Winery (1 hr & 7 min drive, Spicewood): A small winery that naturally focuses on red wines, specifically, “Argentinian wines”.

Recreation
Arkansas Bend Park (12 min drive, Lago Vista): Tranquil, lakeside park offering primitive campsites, plus swimming, fishing, hiking & picnicking.
Vista Knoll Trail (18 min drive, Marble Falls): A pleasant loop trail that meanders around a hill with fairly good views of Lake Travis and the surrounding hills.
Balcones Canyonland (19 min drive, Marble Falls): Home to many native Texas wildlife and plants, and was specifically established to protect the nesting grounds of the black-capped vireo and the endangered golden-cheeked warbler.
Sunset Deck at Balcones (22 min, Marble Falls): Bring binoculars because the Sunset Observation Deck has some nice views and overlook towards Lake Travis.
Gloster Bend Recreation (27 min drive, Marble Falls): 508-acre day-use park features more than a mile of shoreline and two secluded coves. This park is ideal for fishing and picnicking.
Camp Creek Park (35 min drive, Marble Falls): Milton Reimers Ranch Park is situated on over 2,400 acres and gives you access to over 18 miles of trails perfect for hiking and biking.
